Mechel’s 2023 revenue falls on lower production, sales
Mechel's 2023 consolidated revenue slipped 6% on-year to RUB 405.9 billion ($4.44 billion), while Ebitda fell by 25% to RUB 86.3 billion. This was the result of a significant correction in market prices, as well as a reduction in coal production and sales. Profit amounted to RUB 22.3 billion, down 65% on-year.
