Mechel’s coal sales fall amid low exports, sanctions

Russian miner and steelmaker Mechel saw a reduction in output of most steel products in the first half of the year due to logistical barriers. Sales volumes also decreased for coking coal, iron ore concentrate, stampings, and metallurgical coke, the company says in a statement seen by Kallanish.
