Mexico's Ahmsa sees second-quarter performance worsen
Altos Hornos de México (Ahmsa) saw its performance deteriorate during the second quarter of 2020, Kallanish learns from the steelmaker’s unaudited earnings report.
Ahmsa’s net sales reached $297.2 million in Q2, down -56% year-on-year. The fall was due mainly to weak steel demand and lower sales in the coal segment, says the company.
