Mexico withdraws quotas on Chinese plate and nails
Mexico has removed compensatory quotas on imports of carbon steel plate and steel nails for concrete originating from China. This is according to a document from Mexican authorities monitored by Kallanish.
The Mexican Secretariat of Economy determined in its final examination that duties on both products will not hurt domestic production, as announced in the country’s Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF) on 4 December.
