Mineral Resources iron ore shipments gain
Australian mining firm Mineral Resources saw iron ore shipments for the March quarter of 4.5 million wet metric tonnes (wmt), up 10% quarter-on-quarter, Kallanish notes.
Iron ore production and shipments across both hubs were in line with the mine plan and FY23 guidance of 17.2-18.8m wmt.
The Yilgarn Hub in Goldfields shipped 2.13m wmt of iron ore in the March quarter, while Utah Point Hub in the Pilbara shipped 2.42m wmt of iron ore.
