MMK Metalurji lifts performance on EAF restart, demand
Turkey’s MMK Metalurji ramped up output and sales in the fourth quarter and full-year 2021, after it restarted production of crude steel after a decade of idleness. It produced 314,000 tonnes of crude steel in the full year. Fourth-quarter crude steel output more than quadrupled – a 334% increase – on-quarter at 255,000t.
