Blast, fire spare NLMK production
An explosion occurred at one shop of NLMK’s flagship Lipetsk works on 14 November, which caused the roof to collapse and set off a fire, the company tells Kallanish. Although one person was injured, production has not been disrupted.
“The fire was liquidated within 15 minutes, but a woman was injured as a result of the emergency and she is currently in a burn centre,” an NLMK spokesperson says. “Her condition is assessed as serious.”
