Northern European wire rod prices remain stable
Northern European wire rod prices remained flat this week amid firm demand in Europe, sources say. Participants still expect no further price upticks before year-end due to the approaching Christmas holidays and drawing mills’ limited production amid high costs.
“Demand is still good, but the new deals are mostly for low volumes of products,” one buyer from the Netherlands tells Kallanish.
