Nucor announces biweekly fuel surcharge update
Nucor will more closely monitor its customer's fuel surcharges by implementing biweekly updates beginning in April, Kallanish reports.
According to a letter sent to Nucor's customers, biweekly surcharge updates will be based on regional gas price averages in combination with a fixed cost per mile.
Nucor's biweekly surcharges will be based on the Department of Energy's fuel surcharges, which are adjusted every Monday.
