Nucor raises wire rod prices by $40/st
US steel producer Nucor has raised its wire rod prices for new orders, Kallanish learns.
According to a letter sent to customers this week, Nucor has announced that the company has raised its base pricing for wire rod by $40/short ton, effective on all new orders.
Last month, Nucor announced that the company will be building a new $100 million melt shop at one of its existing longs mills in the western US.
