Nucor, SSAB raise US plate prices
Nucor has lent its weight to a new US plate pricing push initiated last week by SSAB, Kallanish reports.
According to a customer letter, Nucor’s new base pricing for unconfirmed offers of A36 will begin at $1,440/short ton, effective immediately. All published extras will continue to apply.
Nucor adds that it is now accepting orders for August.
