Official Receiver confirms British Steel sale to Jingye
The UK Official Receiver (OR) confirmed in a statement on 9 March that parts of the business and assets of British Steel Limited (BSL) have now been sold to Chinese steelmaker Jingye. This follows 9 months of uncertainty after the UK-headquartered long products specialist fell into administration, Kallanish notes.
