Oman rebar demand good, mills eye export markets
Oman retail rebar prices are unchanged this week at OMR 235-238/tonne ($610-618) delivered to buyer's yard.
The benchmark mill, Jindal Shadeed Iron and Steel Oman LLC, is sold out until end-February and has rebar and billet export availability for early March. The company is eyeing the European and Far East rebar markets, Kallanish learns from local market sources.
