Outokumpu raises European alloy surcharges for June
Stainless steel producer Outokumpu has raised its flat stainless steel alloy surcharges month-on-month for a representative range of 27 products for Europe for June 2020, Kallanish notes. This continues the seesaw effect seen so far year-to-date.
Core 300-series austenitic steel surcharges for have been raised in a range from 6.3% to 7.2%. Those for the standard ferritic (400-series) range are increased in a wider range of 2.8% to 4.3%.
