Outokumpu slightly raises European alloy stainless surcharges
Stainless steel producer Outokumpu has slightly raised its flat stainless steel alloy surcharges month-on-month for Europe for February 2020, Kallanish notes. This applies to both ferritic and austenitic grades.
Core 300-series austenitic steel surcharges have been increased in a narrow range from 0.68-0.88%. Those for the standard ferritic (400-series) range are increased in a marginally wider range of 1.03-2.17%.
