Peru’s January iron ore output improves on-month
Peruvian iron ore production increased sequentially in January but was down on-year, Kallanish notes.
According to the latest Peruvian mines and energy ministry (Minem) report, iron ore output reached almost 1.12 million tonnes during the first month of 2023. This volume was 0.5% higher over December but 6.6% less on-year.
