Proposal to build Miami mini-mill well received
Industry sources do not seem surprised by the proposal earlier this week from Miami Dade Steel to build a mini-mill in south Florida, Kallanish reports.
Miami-Dade county commissioners unanimously approved the $16.8 million sale of 123 acres of county-owned land, on a portion of an abandoned Air Force base, to the company.
