Qarmet eyes becoming leading Central Asia, CIS steelmaker
The Qarmet steelworks in Kazakhstan, formerly ArcelorMittal Temirtau, has outlined a longer-term production target to 2028, says the press service of Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The steelmaker is implementing measures to stabilise operation and modernise equipment, but the key task is to increase production volumes.
