Raspadskaya coal mine continues to increase output
The Raspadskaya open-pit mine, part of steelmaking group Evraz, mined more than 3 million tonnes of coking coal in January-August, Kallanish notes.
In August alone, the company achieved its highest performance, mining, for the first time since 2018, 500,000 tonnes of coal in one month. The company is heading towards increasing production volumes, Evraz claims.
