Red October increases output, retains leading position
Russia’s Krasny Oktyabr (Red October) stainless plant remains the leading manufacturer of stainless steel rolled products, according to national special steel association USSA. The share of the mill accounted for 46.2% of total 2022 production in Russia.
Last year, the company increased production of stainless long products by 6.7% on-year to 22,399 tonnes, Kallanish notes.
