Roy Hill achieves record iron ore shipments
Australian iron ore producer Roy Hill, a subsidiary of Australian mining group Hancock Prospecting, has shipped a record of over 60 million tonnes of iron ore to its international customers for the financial year ended 30 June 2022 (FY22), Kallanish notes.
However, the company’s profit after tax for FY22 was down 28% year on year to AUD 3.2 billion ($2.19 billion), due to lower iron ore prices.
