Roy Hill to expand its autonomous haulage system
Australian iron ore miner Roy Hill will expand its autonomous haulage system (AHS) from March, Kallanish notes.
The move will convert its mixed fleet of 96 conventional haul trucks to driverless operating and create the world’s largest autonomous mine.
Roy Hill, and Epiroc subsidiary ASI have worked in partnership to develop a world-first autonomous haul track solution that is interoperable and scalable regardless of manufacturer.
