Russia's stainless imports continued to decrease in June
Russian imports of stainless steel decreased in June compared with May, says national special steel association USSA. Intake amounted to 41,970 tonnes, down by 9.3% on-month, but the June figure was up by 45% on-year, Kallanish notes.
In May, Russian intake was 46,250t, up by 25.3% on-year (see Kallanish passim). In April, Russian intake was 51,543t, up by 29% on-year, and this figure was a new record for one month, USSA claims.
