Russia continues to increase steel output in September

Russia increased steel production in September, according to data from domestic analytical company Chermet. The country’s steelmakers produced 6.25 million tonnes of crude steel and 5.4mt of rolled products, up 10% on-year and 7.6% on-year, respectively, Kallanish notes.
