Russia ramps up stainless imports in July
Russian imports of stainless steel increased in July compared with June, says national special steel association USSA. Intake amounted to 43,880 tonnes, up by 4.6% on-month and 39% on-year, Kallanish notes.
In June, Russian intake was 41,970t, up by 45% on-year (see Kallanish passim). In May, Russian intake was 46,250t, up by 25.3% on-year.
