Russia’s stainless steel output rebounds in February
Russian production of stainless steel increased in February to 27,700 tonnes, up by 51% on-year, and was up 16.3% on-month, according to national statistical service Rosstat data monitored by Kallanish.
In January alone, output amounted to 23,800 tonnes, up by 37.1% on-year, but was down 4.4% on-month (see Kallanish passim).
In January-February, stainless steel output was at 51,500t, up by 44.2% on-year.
