SAIL contracts Linde for Rourkela air separation unit
Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has expanded its pre-existing long-term agreement with industrial gases and engineering company Linde to supply an air separation unit (ASU). The new energy-efficient ASU will be located at SAIL’s Rourkela plant in Odisha and have a capacity of 1,000 tonnes/day, Kallanish notes.
