SAIL awards PMPL coking coal mine development project
Power Mech Projects (PMPL) has been awarded an INR 30,438 crore ($3.7 billion) Mine Development and Operation (MDO) contract by Steel Authority of India (SAIL) for its Jharia coalfield-based Tasra open cast project (OPC) in Jharkhand.
The duration of the contract is 28 years, which includes a two-year development period, PMPL informs in a press release seen by Kallanish.
