Samarco agrees to supply pellet to Nucor
Brazilian iron ore miner and pellet producer Samarco and Nucor Steel have signed a long-term iron ore trade agreement, Kallanish understands.
The five-year contract, under which Samarco will deliver direct reduced iron ore pellets to the US steelmaker, is in line with growing global demand. The volume of the supply was not revealed.
