Samarco aims for restart before year-end
Brazilian iron ore miner and pellet producer Samarco has completed maintenance works at some of its essential assets at the Complexo de Germano in Minas Gerais, Kallanish notes from the company.
The miner is now focussing its efforts to finish the implementation of a new tailings disposal system, with a filtering system for dry stacking of 80% of tailings generated, the miner confirms.
