Saudi Arabia rebar prices hike less than expected
In Saudi Arabia, domestic rebar prices have increased by SAR 50-75/tonne ($13.3-20) for March deliveries.
“The rebar price rise is very nominal. It reflects the average price increase of iron ore seen in the first quarter of 2022. However, anticipations were for a minimum SAR 100/t hike,” opines a local senior mill official.
