Saudi's Al Yamamah raises rebar prices, tests market
Saudi rebar re-rollers and traders expect a slight increase in rebar quotes for January deliveries amid subdued demand. West coast-based Al Yamamah raised its (grade 60) rebar quote to SAR 2,250/t delivered in the western provinces against cash for transactions until the end of the month, to be reconsidered when the benchmark mill announces its new rebar quotes, notes Kallanish.
