Saudi rebar prices slide on regional sentiment
Saudi Arabian mills have reduced their rebar quotes by SAR 20-25/tonne (SAR 5.33-6.66) on-week. Last Thursday, a major mill reduced its September-delivery price to SAR 2,550/t ($680) delivered and contacted traders to place orders, stipulating the price fall this week. Regional sentiment has thus also impacted the buoyant Saudi market, Kallanish notes.
