Severstal to increase structural steel output after acquisitions
Russian steelmaker Severstal has acquired Ventall Steel Solutions as well as a production complex in Cherepovets.
The move will allow Severstal to produce up to 126,000 tonnes/year of steel structures, Kallanish notes. The Severstal Steel Solutions unit will account for 48,000t, taking into account the implementation of the investment project to expand capacity by 2025.
