Singapore rebar import market falters on Chinese weakness

The plunge in Chinese steel futures this week has pulled down rebar prices in Singapore, Kallanish understands. Malaysian theoretical-weight rebar for April/May shipment is being offered at $520/tonne trucked to Singapore, equivalent to $510-515/t cfr Singapore.
