Sinosteel delays jeopardise Bolivian steel project
Bolivia’s state-owned Empresa Siderúrgica del Mutún (ESM) is considering cancellation of the agreement with the Chinese company Sinosteel for the construction of country`s first steelmaking complex in El Mutún, Kallanish notes. ESM`s president, Milko Moreno, has informed Sinosteel of its intention to revoke the contract due to delays in construction work, according to Bolivian media reports.
