SMS upgrades Megasider’s Zaragoza merchant bar mill
Germany's SMS Group is to upgrade Spanish long steel supplier Megasa’s merchant bar mill at the Megasider Zaragoza plant, Kallanish learns from the plant maker.
Megasa has agreed a contract with SMS to replace its existing rolling mill with equipment based on environmentally-friendly heating technology. The new facility will be designed to produce a wide range of merchant bar.
