Spanish scrap market awaits price decrease
The Spanish scrap market is set to begin April with a downward adjustment. Most local steel mills are evaluating lowering their purchasing prices following recent movements observed in the international market, Kallanish hears from local market sources.
“Domestic scrap prices are seen falling by nearly €10/tonne [$10.83/t] after the local market saw consecutive weeks of calm,” a source says.
