Steel Dynamics breaks earnings record in 2021
Indiana-based US steel producer Steel Dynamics Inc (SDI) posted record fourth quarter and annual earnings during 2021, Kallanish learns from the company's latest performance results.
SDI earned $1.1 billion on sales of $5.3 billion in the fourth quarter of 2021. In the full year, the company's earnings reached $3.2 billion on sales of $18.4 billion. In an on-year comparison, SDI's earnings were up from $551 million on sales of $9.6 billion during 2020.…
