Chinese steel surges as supply restrictions boost confidence
Chinese steel futures prices soared on Wednesday as restrictions on production and the crackdown on some induction furnaces caused expectations of a tighter steel market. Physical traders also reported more buying as customers wanted to buy before prices increased further, Kallanish notes.
