Taiwanese stainless steelmakers lower December offers
Taiwanese stainless steelmakers Walsin Lihwa and Yieh United Steel Corporation (Yusco) have both lowered their December offers for various stainless products for the second consecutive month. Tang Eng Iron Works continues to set prices in individual negotiations with customers, as it has done for 18 months.
Yusco cut its December offer for 304 series and 316L by TWD 3,500/tonne ($111.2/t) and TWD 4,000/t for domestic sales. Export offers also declined $100/t and $…
