Tata slab scarfing line to tap automotive market
Tata Steel has contracted SMS to provide a slab conditioning – or scarfing – line for its Kalinganagar works that eliminates slab surface and subsurface defects. This will open a new market segment for the plant by meeting future automotive industry requirements.
