Tata Steel restructures divisions, increases exports
Tata Steel is consolidating its Indian subsidiaries in four business verticals, namely Long products, Downstream, Mining and Infrastructure, in order to drive synergies and simplification. The process should be finalised in 6-9 months’ time. The firm is also exploring alternative business models for its chrome ore business as it works towards closing its Sukinda chromite mine.
