Tata continues seeking IJmuiden solution after sale fails
Tata Steel says it remains focused on searching for solutions for its European portfolio, following SSAB’s withdrawal last week from talks to acquire the IJmuiden plant.
“Tata Steel wishes to confirm that it is committed to arriving at a strategic resolution for its European portfolio. Tata Steel’s IJmuiden plant is among the most environmentally efficient and cost competitive steel producers in Europe,” the Indian group says.
