Tata trials first scrap at new processing plant
Tata Steel has dispatched its first scrap consignment for trials at its steel recycling plant being set up in Rohtak in Haryana, Kallanish notes. The plant is gearing up for commissioning.
Yogesh Bedi, Chief, Steel Recycling Business, Tata Steel, says: “Steel recycling through the electric arc furnace route is a global trend and going forward it would become imperative for India’s sustainable growth aspirations.”
