Thyssenkrupp to launch hydrogen supply tender in Germany

Germany’s thyssenkrupp Steel Europe plans to launch its first hydrogen supply tender this quarter, targeting roughly 140,000 tonnes/year of renewable and low-carbon hydrogen. In a pre-tender notice seen by Kallanish, the steelmaker says deliveries to its site in Duisburg, in western Germany, should start in 2028.
