Tokyo Steel holds January offers steady
Japan’s main electric arc furnace-based steelmaker Tokyo Steel on Friday decided to hold its offers steady for January next year, the sixth month in a row, Kallanish notes.
For major long products, the prices are stable at JPY 98,000-99,000/tonne ($688-695/t) for deformed bar, JPY 128,000-134,000/t for I-beams, and JPY 127,000-145,00/t for H-beams.
