Tokyo Steel maintains offers for fifth straight month
Japan’s Tokyo Steel on Monday decided to keep its offers for December contracts unchanged, indicating price stability for the fifth month in a row, Kallanish notes.
For mainstream products, the new prices are JPY 112,000-114,00/tonne ($752-765/t) for hot rolled coil, with pickled coil at an extra JPY 10,000/t. Thick plate is offered at JPY 118,000-122,000/t, while deformed bar quotes are still at JPY 98,000-99,000/t.
