Tokyo Steel lifts coil list prices for February
Japan’s major electric arc furnace-based steel manufacturer Tokyo Steel on Monday decided to maintain its long product list prices for February, the seventh month in a row. It chose to increase coil prices however, Kallanish notes.
In terms of longs products, the prices are at JPY 98,000-99,000/tonne ($661-668/t) for deformed bar, JPY 128,000-134,000/t for I-beams, and JPY 127,000-145,00/t for H-beams.
