Turkey's 2022 HR flats exports fall by third
Turkey's exports of hot-rolled flat products under HS code heading 7208 fell for the fourth consecutive year in 2022, as December dispatches also declined on-month, show Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
December saw a total of 101,803 tonnes of flat products leaving Turkey, down 9.6% on-month and down two thirds on-year. Turkey's total 2022 export volumes declined by 27.2% on-year to 2.01 million tonnes.
